can someone shed some light on UEFI bios?

    i'm trying to insert an slic table into the bios of my new machine the motherboard is P8Z77-WS with a AMIBIOS, the bios download off the ASUS website is a .cap file w/ a flashing exe and andy's amibios tool isn't working. i searched around the forums and came to the conclusion they changed the bios types to UEFI? can someone point me to the write direction to the appropriate bios mod tool to these newer bios types?

    that isnt working either, just giving me an error when i try to load the original bios image

    hmm i just successfully modded my bios but when i try to flash it it says the security verification fails, is there a way around this?
