    Can Win8.1 has the function of Win7?
    How to recover them:-
    1. Aero glass : semi-transparent effect, not only the toolbar but also any windows on desktop.
    2. 3D aero : flipping effect
    3. ordinary start-menu : rather than 3rd-party s/w

    Yes it can. Just put any Windows 8.1 installation medium in your computer and upgrade it.

    3. Probably! Copy the explorer.exe file from Windows 7. Problematic.

    Yep, really easy

    Insert Windows 7 DVD > Format C:\ > Install Windows 7

    Answer to 1-3: Don't use Windows 8 or 8.1! Use Windows 7 and be stuck with it for a long time! If Windows 8 is toooo ugly for you then don't use it! I knew a time when new OSes looked different from the before. Very long time ago and sadly gone are these times. Nowerdays if a OS looks diferent it's a realy bad thing. :mad: In these days there were other things like performance and technical and security fetures more important than chrome and good looking and transperant borders. Behold M$ only a OS with superficial good looks is REALY good.
