Can you install DCH drivers on Windows 10 2015 or 2016 LTSB?

    Hey.

    I was just wondering if it's possible to install DCH drivers on Windows 10 2015 or 2016 LTSB?

    AFAIK nope, DCH drivers are only compatible with 1709 or later windows 10 versions.

    absolutely not
    DCH based drivers may not install nor even work with old LTSB 2015 & 2016 versions

    if you really want to use DCH drivers, upgrade to LTSC 2019

    Lol not so much a case of "want to use" as "no other choice" (every hw manufacturer decided it'd be really cool to drop legacy drivers, especially intel.)

    well Realtek on the other hand is still making both new UAD/DCH and legacy HDA (non-DCH) audio drivers :)
    so they haven't dropped support for legacy drivers just yet

    and AMD is still making both DCH and non-DCH radeon graphics drivers
    same for nVidia as well

    it really depends on what kind of DCH drivers are you trying to install

    nVidia server only Win10 DCH drivers on the main download page. Non-DCH drivers are are available from the driver archive direct link above.
