Hi can anyone shed any light
on how to access hard drive folders ?
The issue is I have replaced a new hard drive into a PC fresh windows vista install, the old drive I now have connected on a separate sata channel and windows can see it fine.
But I want to copy the users folders ie. pictures etc. across to the new drive but I dont have permissions infact it states the folders are empty now when I know they are not.
I guess its something to do with accounts and permissions ?
How can I restore the data to the new drive.
ps. the old drive does now not boot anymore but I can gain access as a slaved drive still.

    Thanks in advance:confused:
