I ran bitdefender scanner which found some treats so i deleted them. The error msg is not coming up anymore but those first 2 services are not even listed under services. What do i need to do now plz? thx
Seems like you have decided you are the first type of person... So in fact you don't have a problem here that is specific to Windows 8... You have a "I got a virus and how do I clean my system and get back to working with while dreaming a lot about ponies so I won't worry about whatever virus payloads might still be buried in my computer" kind of problem... There are actually forums where friendly (and obsessive about security) people will get you to run various diagnostics such as WinPatrol to give you some sort of confidence in repairing the computer and might be a better place to continue your search for the "Holy Grail" of a clean computer post-infection... Thats just my opinion and somebody here at MDL might in fact have the same joy as those folks do in talking you through a clean-up If you can't find those types of forums, I could check my bookmarks... I can't think of anything else helpful because personally, I'm the second type of person who would re-install on a virus infection and I don't pay much attention to these cases of "Dead Man Walking" computers...
