Can't choose what version of 7 to install when using USB drive.

    Hi all.

    I used the Microsoft ISO tool thing to make a 8GB windows 7 install "disk". It all works fine and very easy.

    I installed Ultimate on my desktop and just went to install Professional on my notebook but it auto assumes I want Ultimate and only lets me install that.

    Not a problem I thought, I have read on here many times that I need to delete the efi file and then I can choose again.

    This is the problem, I can't find it! Is it a hidden file? What's the exact file name, and is this something the USB tool does?

    Any help would be great.

    Name of file is "ei.cfg", not "efi"; and it is located in the "\sources" subdirectory. :D

    BINGO! Funny that. A search under 7 didn't find it on the stick. Plugged into my XP machine and it found it. Anyway, installing now.
