Cant flash the bios

    I have an interesting problem, I want to Flash the Bios of my Gigabyte Board to add slic 2.1.

    But this model mobo cant be flashed from Windows.

    It requires a Bios update to allow it to boot on a usb stick.( It just freezes until you remove the stick and reset.)

    I havnt had a floppy disc in years and my local pc shop no longer stocks them.

    What should I do ???

    Create a boot CD with all the files necessary?

    Created the cd flashed the bios alls well.

    BTW the bios update fixes the usb problem and installed slic 2.1, but Q flash in bios still requires a floppy for it to work.

    Doesnt matter its now got the latest bios for that board and slic 2.1
