Cant get my HP Dv2754 to update to slic 2.1 from 2.0?

    i've flashed my laptop 4 times but its not picking up as 2.1 its still reading as 2.0 in SLIC tool kit any one know what i can do?

    I take it you already tried clearing cmos and loading default setting in bios. ?

    You need to post more info. Link to mod. bios and original and what tool you have used to flash it. The SLIC2.0 could be protected and to flash with dos phlash version 1700 and /O /FORCE switch may help...

    So you were able to successfully install SLIC 2.1 and activate Windows 7 on it? DO SHARE. Exactly, what and how?

    besides he already did explain how he did flash it.. with switch /O /FORCE as instructed by YEN.
