Can't get my speakers to work

    Ok, so I've tried everything,and I can't get my headphones or speakers to work. I've reinstalled the driver, I've checked the volume and mute controls and I've even tried the windows troubleshooting genie and tips and nothing works. My damn speakers or headphones won't work no matter what I do. Now if @murphy78 is around his assistance would be most helpful but if not aomeone, anyone, help PLEASE...

    Did you change you system in some why prior to this problem and if so can you reverse that? Revert to a Restore Point? System image restore? Repair install of the OS?
