The Windows 7 toolkit turned your windows into a frankenbuild (it replaced some activation files with the RC-builds).
afaik you have to reinstall, the toolkit pretty much destoys your windows. use the loaders to activate your windows and dont touch the toolkit ever again ;)

The 'tokens.dat' and 'pkeyconfig.xrm-ms' files have been replaced by the files fron the RC build of win 7. The has created the frankenbuild.

Try doing an uninstall with the toolkit, you may be lucky, then try to reinstall the trial key.

These two files can be replace with the good RTM files but I can't find the post which explained the procedure.

The last option, as the previous poster said, is to reinstall.

    1. I don't know but I guess it should work
    2. I don't know the tool you used so I can't confirm :D
    3. not sure if I understand your question, but if you are activated then you must have SLIC 2.1 either in your BIOS either because you installed an act¡vator.
    4. yep ;)

    Question 3 I meant:
If I can have a "never ending trial" throught renaming 3 files (slui.exe...) are there reasons to use a loader (why should I use a loader/modified BIOS instead?)

After replacement of the posted 2 files (tokens.dat....) I could install the trial key; so I had 15 days left.
After stopping SSP and renaming the 3 system files the status is "not available" in Computer preferences ;)

    Thxx to all!

Well you can't, if you have 15 days left, you probably installed Windows 7 15 days ago, think about it ;)

A 'never ending trial' will be trouble when proper wndows updates start.
You need to activate properly either with a bios mod or a good loader.

One of the first hacks for Vista was called 'Timer Stop' which effectively a never ending trial. It was also the first of the hacks that M$ stopped.
