Can't load windows 8

    Hello all,
    I have an.iso for windows 8 \64 pro ( check sum sha-1 OK) ... and after i try to run the program ( and input Key) it goes through the process ..Either from within windows or from a boot DVD eventually i get get a message that the "install windows 8 was unsuccessful " and it reverts back to previous OS.. can anyone provide any clues on how to proceed? Sorry if this is too "noobish" my first post.... Thanks Regards Fred

    check your cpu if it supports NX

    Hello..Thanks for the tip ... Ran "Coreinfo" and NX,PAE,SSE2 are functional ..Any other ideas? Thanks ...Regards Fred

    PS: Could this be that Windows 8 needs to be placed on a HD that's formatted GPT?
