Do you mean using "slmgr -ilc c:\pkeyconfig.xrm-ms" before running Token Restore? If so, I've tried that but it still says trial period. :(

If you mean another file, where would I get that from? Is it available on the internet or could I get it from the recovery DVD they gave me? I'd really rather not have to recover the system to get this file.

Download cert from The Official Windows 7 Repository. Place the dell cert under windows partison. Run:
slmgr -ilc C:\DELL.xrm-ms, then restore tokens.

No - he means slmgr -ilc c:\DELL.XRM-MS

You can get hold of dell.xrm-ms from these forums.

Thanks for the help guys, I knew I'd missed a step. I used the OpaTool (linked to in the step F-a of the Repository thread) and now it remains activated after rebooting, yay. :)

I'm afraid you went the long way about this you should have just used the dell reinstallation dvd it is only a OEM SLP dvd it would have installed windows 7 and it would have been preactivated without all the bloatware. Just have a look in the sources folder on the dvd and you should see $OEM$ folder.
