Cant turn on window firewall

    Yesterday i got error 0x80074D0A while installing metro apps from the window store.. and i found the solution , it must on window firewall , and i want to turn on but cant... here the screenshot xxx.i.imgur.Lom/WAGbU.png and xxx.i.imgur.Lom/eowAw.png (change x to w and L to c) , Help Please

    And? Did you check the Event Log Files? What result?

    check your system with any virus/malware tool or run sfc /scannow as admin

    I got it after install app , i go to start menu , and want open the application , and pop out say "cant install this app . click to see the detail" i click it , and it show that error code...

    Sorry its not a app but a game.. i think Gravity Guy.. btw i already run sfc /scannow and the result is "Window Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

    what if you uninstall the game? same error?

    How to uninstall the game , that u not install the game yet? i said already , cant install that game , btw can ignore about the game? focus about how to turn window firewall on? :worthy:

    Yeah , solved already , i use system restore and back to normal... thanks to u guys , cause try to help me :biggrin:

    A failed installation doesn't always mean no installation. Installation can fail and leave you with bits of the program still there and if any system changes were made during the failed installation they are likely still there too.

    just for your files: sfc /scannow is system restore which I recommended in one of my earlier posts upon your request to help you ;)
