Can't update Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    Install the updates in batches, all security first, then reboot, then all dotnet and reboot, then everything else and so on..

    Is this WHDownloader a better alternative to Simplix?

    No idea, I have not tried either. What was the problem you had with simplix? I'm about to install the latest from them. I'm thinking of dual-booting a w10 install just for the wim update management stuff I recently found out about. I'd much rather do that then have to get 600+mb downloads from Russia that can literally do anything to my system.
