To the math wizards out there. I have a room 8' x 11' and i want to buy carpet tiles which are 19.7" x 19.7". How many tiles do i need? Sorry for the math as i suck at it.
Hello @marchy - The easiest way is to convert feet to inches. 8 ft. = 96 inches 96 inches divided by by 19.7 inches per tile = 4.87 tiles (Round this up to five) 11ft. = 132 inches 132 inches divided by 19.7 inches per tile = 6.70 tiles (Round this up to seven) 5 tiles x 7 tiles = 35 tiles
