    Have you try contacting Panasonic to see if they can help you, that register is old mite have some HW issues or drivers doesnt support the card reader is the CC reader integrated to the register or is it a separate peripheral.

    I've checked their support sites. All discontinued, very old stuff.
    Maybe its time for a friendly, old fashioned email. :)
