There's no validation for Win8 yet. The KB97103 update is just for Windows 7/vista.

KMS Client Keys cannot blocked by MS, besause the are all the Same for all Users.

Those KMS keys wont be blocked since MS released those on the net (see rrohela's post)

I don't know if there is any truth in what he says. But he is talking about the KMS Host key. I think you can determine with which host key a client was activated, and thus deactivate all clients thet activated using the blocked host key.

Not possible, because every Activated KMS Client gets an Unique Client ID.

What about the KMS Host ID, known by MS (because it had to be activated) and if they know that it is a pirated one, i'm pretty shure they can block it.

And i'm also shure to that MS has the means to extract whatever they want from your machine.

Just tested... My win7 is still active even after mentioned update... Even tried public kms, toolkit & still active... No such message appeared...
Either AlexAlba is confused with error or just enjoying debate on imaginary problem...Only he can explain it with some detail & screenshots.

There is no update with that number. Did you mean kb971033?
The mentioned update doesn't exist. What did you test with?

I assume there was a typo. kb971033 was the one but this does not affect W8 (not yet) :D

I don't think they will release a wat like update for 8... They had it with 7, so they could very well have it integrated in 8 if they wanted to. And even if they would distribute such an update I expect it to come with Blue.

So, doest this upgrade really detect if the computer was activated from a host using a leaked key or not?

No and there is no wat/activationblocking update for windows 8. It doesn't exist and I don't expect it to exist in the near future. Especially not cause they have a more frequent update cycle (Blue) which for MS is a better opportunity to introduce new piracy-blocking technologies.

I have tested this with a fresh Win 7 Enterprise installation in Wmware, installed all updates including kb971033. activated using KMSnano V6 by Heldigard.
Downloaded and installed m$ validation software check. When run the check fails withe this message

    "Contact your system administrator.
Windows running on this PC has not yet been properly activated. The Key Management Service (KMS) key used to activate Windows running on this PC has been blocked by Microsoft. To resolve, contact your system administrator for assistance."

Windows is deactivated and the key removed, trying to reinstall the key results in an error message.
Tried to reinstall the key using CODYQX4's toolkit and got this error :-

    "<Product key installation failed>
The security processor reported that the trusted data store was rearmed."

Have not yet managed to re-activate.
