cd/dvd device driver is missing. need help

    help me out guys...
    i burnt win7 x86 OEM ultimate on dvd.
    when i try to install it ..it gives me this message.
    a required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing. if you have a disk ,cd,dvd,usb flash drive insert it.
    if the window installation media is in the cd/dvd/drive you can safely remove it for this step.
    i am stuck how can i go about and install the above said win7? presently i have 6.1 build 7600 running on my laptop.
    any help will be appreciated.

    Yes, I had the exact same trouble. I finished up re-downloading the whole thing, and burning a new DVD.
    It worked without any worries. A corrupt download I think...

    thanks for the info. i was downloading a fresh file and it cut me off. p:
    now i am downloading from a diffrent torrent site , it's slow but be done by tomorrow.
