CD/DVD Writer firmware modify...

    hi all,
    i need to kwow a method to modify the firmware of my cd/dvd rom
    also a generic way to apply the modify to other optical devices
    a need to write at 1x

    Yes,

    Download a program called Omnipatcher.

    It will allow you to select lower write speeds, but you will have to find the media ID first, or you can apply it individually to all media.

    thank you !
    but when i loaded the exe firmware of my cd/dvd writer it gives me the error that can not load exe files.
    so what can i do ?
    extract the firmware in .bin ? how ?
    is it only for liteon/sony writers ?, so no possibilitird for pacht other brands ?
    i need to modify write speed of my dvd-writer on cd-rom not dvd
    seems the omnipatcher do only for dvd

    please read better : i want modify my cd/dvd write speed on cd-rom
