Change from Starter to Ultimate on EEE pc 1005PEB

    Change from Starter to Ultimate on Asus EEE pc 1005PEB :

    Quick question.Do I need to mod bios to change to ultimate? Os on pc is mucked up, and I have a ultimate disk that I do all my installs with. If I can, all I need is a cert and prod id correct? Thanks in advance. :)

    I looked at the spec of your pc, I would go for Win7 Home starter, I think ultimate would be too slow on your laptop, just use windows upgrade offline and enter the homebasic key all should be ok, if you do want ultimate then just enter ultimate key, asus keys of course, then reboot go online and all should be ok

    Use OEM:SLP key for Ultimate if you already have W7 (If it came with the netbook)
