    Change lock screen language and time format

    I read the "K. How do I change the lock-screen language/time format?" in the The Official Windows 8 Repository thread:
    http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/29322-The-Official-Windows-8-Repository

    Does it work for anybody?

    It is not working for me. Does it only work in the Windows 8 previews?

    The officially released Windows 8 doesn't have a "Logon" folder, but I created one and put "UserSettings.ini":

    Code:
    [GlobalizationPreferences]
    TimeFormat=hh:mm:ss tt
    LocaleName=en-US
    GeographicRegion=US
    Calendar=GregorianCalendar
    Clock=12HourClock
    Languages=en-US

    The technique got posted by me in another topic during the time of Developer Preview. Right now is this settings linked to your region format. ;)

    I have checked this for RTM now and I can say that it's not anymore affective. It was standard in the AppData folder during the Developer Preview and now with RTM is it completely gone.
