hi. i have sony vaio svf153a1yw. MachineName and SerialNumber are blank value in bios. i have MachineName and SerialNumber labels and i want to write them so how can i do it?
Try using one of the utilities at: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...tion-and-flashing-utilities-collection.81582/. You will first need to determine the BIOS brand (AMI, Insyde, etc.).
Try downloading a copy of Insyde H2OSDE (SMBIOS Data Editor) for editing DMI data. Download a copy here: LINK or LINK 2. If these do not work, then you will need Sony OEM tools (described here).
