Any use of any apps, which requires to use a 'Gateway-Server' connection, is insecure. Period! Difficult for me to understand users, who complaining about a lack of Security in an OS, that they use an insecure system like TeamViewer! Sure it's up to any user to just use what he/she 'likes', which is also their right to do so all times! And if those users have to realize, that their data are checked and also kept for further use (for whatever), and they try to bypass that using a different OS, they should still realize that their data still will be checked and kept! A good example is that post from LatinMcG above! That Linux users of TeamViewer are just very few, will net prevent the TeamViewer co. for to capture all flowing data, and for sure even to analyze them! Also sure that Windows users are the majority of TeamViewer users, and that company had created an automated system for to capture and analyze the user data!! Sorry, Latin McG, that isn't any offense, or mean as such!
