Change Windows Version Window Branding to MDL Logo

    Take ownership of \Windows\Branding\Basebrd\basebrd.dll, and change its name to basebrd.dll.bak. Then copy the basebrd.dll file included in

    [FONT=source_sans_proregular] this compressed file, and when you type winver in the RUN dialog box you will get this. It may differ if you are not using black theme. The top will be black, but the bottom will be white. Still cool looking though.

    YEP. And changing bitmap in \Windows\Branding\ShellBrd\shellbrd.dll change logo in System Properties.
