changed from xp to windows7.

    32 bit.

    My documents shortcut will not allow me to enter a folder. I am only user of the computer and need to have access.

    'You dont currently have permission to access this folder'.
    I try to follow the on-screen instructions but only end up at square one again. Can you help please.:confused:

    Did you try to take ownership of the folder you need access to?

    Yes I did, followed the instructions (as I thought) tried to close properties but was back at square one.
