Changing Manufacturer and model in Vmware

    I tred with Phoenix BIOS editor and changed them there, then added
    bios440.filename = "romfile.rom"

    but it still boots showing Vmware as manufacturer/model...

    Any idea what I'm missing?
    PS: this is vmware 16
