CHKDSK memory leak

    I found a strange memory leak while using check disk utility. Did anyone experience such a problem too?

    x64 original build without updates. no files patched/changed. biosmod 2.1 + vista certificate + 22TKD...

    never seen such a bug earlier

    Yeah, I have similar problems with chkdsk.
    Using x86 RC.

    I have the same problem. x64 RTM. It only happens with the /R flag or "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" option checked.

    well, seems I was right, having not deleted Vista SP2 on the other HDD :)

    running x64 win7 and no problem when i run chkdsk seems fine
