    Hi,

One of my hosts is letting me use two Xen HVM VPS instances on his box, both running Windows Server 2008. I had been running Xen on my own server, but he helped me migrate to his infrastructure. Under MY setup, I installed the Xen PV drivers, version 5.5 and all was well, but when we migrated the containers to his server, now we have two UNRECOGNIZED PV DEVICE CLASSES: XEN CONSOLE and XEN VFB.

I have a later version of the Xen PV drivers, version 6.0.2, but can I run the setup OVER THE EXISTING 5.5 drivers? Would this clear up any anomalies?

    Assistance would be appreciated!

On Xenserver you use different drivers. (Citrix provided ones). The Xenbus works different under the old Xen Enterprise (Which Xenserver and XCP are based on) to opensource Xen. It has never been the case that you could mix and match drivers.
