Hi guys Sorry for what's bound to be a frequent question. I have been running a Windows Tools KMS activated 8.1 pro. had a read around on here and noticed I had to upgrade to 10 before I could clean install. So I upgraded... everything was jiggy. Windows was activated still. I then clean installed (USB ISO - Official Windows 10 ISO maker) but I wasn't activated. I thought the PC would auto activate due to the hardware ID being the same and the upgrade being happy? I'm obviously missing something obvious here, help someone with inferior knowledge out please gents
Thanks for your help Due to this occurring, I formatted/8.1 KMS/Upgraded to 10 again (activated ok) Can I clean install with that key or do I need to clean install without entering a key, then run your command? Or doesn't it matter? Thanks again
I don't know what every bit of the information contained in the output txt file is and how it can (or cannot) be used. For that reason Ive PM'ed it to you
Free is a subjective term. Will it cost you money? No. Its looking like you pay for it with your privacy. Have a look in the serious discussion forum at the thread: The Microsoft Privacy agreement Read it Understand it. Also check out the O&O ShutUp10 thread in this forum. Run windows update, there is a specific update that relates to the little 'try windows 10' taskbar flag (google for KB Code). It could be of course that your current installation doesn't qualify for upgrade.
