Info: If you want to clean install your machine with Win 10 (e.g. from USB or DVD), FIRST, you have to get licensed (or cracked) Win 7 SP1, or Win 8 / 8.1 on there, and do an in-place upgrade to Win 10. THEN you can wipe and put clean Win 10 on there, and when it asks for serial just click skip, because MS will have "logged" your machine as being licensed when you did the upgrade, and it'll auto-activate once you get to desktop. (pretty long, but then again it is free ) Query: There are two MS download pages: (I can't post links ...) microsoft, com, en-us, software-download, windows10 and microsoft, com, en-us, software-download, windows10ISO If I try and access the first one on my PC, it redirects me to the second (they probably want you to use the tool if you're on PC), but I could access it on my phone. Are there any differences between the ISOs downloaded from the site, and those produced from the tool? Thanks.
There is another way. IF you have an MSDN account, you can get new key codes and download the .iso files and do a new, clean install without having to upgrade from a previous version of Windows.
