Clean Up the WinSxS Folder error to update windows in 22H2

    Hi All,

    My windows verion is Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22621.2070]. after I Cleaned Up the WinSxS Folder by "
    Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup" then it won't let me update windows.

    Does anyone have above issue? thanks

    Did you mix up updates meant for the Beta channel with ones for Retail? Because that's when things break after Cleanup.

    Do a one-time upgrade by ISO and don't mix them up, again.

    I did tried from Version 10.0.22621.1992 to Version 10.0.22621.2070, it failed if I clean the WinSxS folder. thanks!

    Try this first delete everything inside the software distribution folder and inside theTemp folder and try the update again that usually fixes the issue
