    Should we be happy?

Yes we should! Will have to find out about new packages again, again remove crapware junkware and Spyware new rules for firewall as Microsoft will change addresses new registry tweaks and ways of disabling auto updates and so much more, Can't wait to get my hands on that new windows 10 it will be so much fun again ;)

It accepts all old genuine (bought and i also think slic2.x/windows:Dm) keys from 7, 8.x and 10 ;) To mention one of the benefits for legal use ;)

The mentioned article doesn't give us that info (i didn't do more researche). It (also) comes as a cumulative update so maybe, we'll see :) Although, LTSB stands for Long Term Servicing Branche, in this case it could be that it's excluded?

I've never seen M$ withdraws any editions (skus) already published unless they publish a whole new version...

It is said that windows 10 fall updates will be shipped as a cumulative update, not as a full build and it will allow windows users to activate their windows using their windows 7, 8 and 8.1 keys directly inserting it.
I am a little bit confused on using keys directly.
If fresh windows 10 with updated builds is not release then one who wants to install clean windows then how he will insert his windows 7, 8 or 8.1 keys as he will have to use the windows 10 build 10240 which is not accepting any earlier windows key?
further without activating windows 10 we are not able to get updates via windows default update system.
Is MS forcing us to make a home brew updated windows build?

may I get some clarification on it?

That's why Microsoft will release a ISO because they didnt want to see users making homebrew isos. Just wait and see

I don't think they care about homebrew ISOs if they are used personally, but I also think that they will have an official ISO release.

I think it might just be the skip the product key and activate it later approach.

Where did you hear that it will have the ability to accept 7/8/8.1 keys? That is absolutely not true. I wish it was, but it's not.

And it won't be a cumulative update, it will come down as a full ESD and upgrade the entire OS build.

Right now build 10565 can accept 7/8/8.1 keys for activation. It is totally conceivable that this would carry over to RTM build. Also, Gabe Aul said it would be a cumulative update, but he is considering releasing an ISO.
