Codecs in Windows 7, pls help

    Very cool, can someone collect ot from x86 & x64 version Windows? 1 folder with x86 & 1 with x64 files. I haven´t got clean system... Thanks

    The built in Windows 7 codecs really aren't that great. For example, they can't even handle MKV containers. If you really want high quality codecs you're still better off with a codec pack like K-Lite.

    i second using Win 7 codec pack.

    go to shark007.net

    download and install the x86 pack and the x64 pack, assuming you have x64, and then go to tools and download and install MPC x64 and x86. Then configure the codecs accordingly in the start menu and enable DXVA for hardware accleration. That setup is unstoppable and has the smoothest playback, escpecially in H264
