Hi I'd read somewhere (probably this forum) some commands to change win8 keys , and I need them , I searched on this forum and some others but no luck, if you know them please let me know. slmgr commands dont help me because my windows shows me that Im on a windown non-core edition and I've to run slui.exe.
I found Slui 3 and Slui 4 but whenever I try to activate it shows me an error that the service cannot be started- look at these images : Im not able to post images or link so I changed http to h**p , you correct it yourself. Code: h**p://pictat.com/i/2012/11/8/38987untitled2.png h**p://pictat.com/i/2012/11/8/16185untitled5.png h**p://pictat.com/i/2012/11/8/14650untitled3.png h**p://pictat.com/i/2012/11/8/29354untitled4.png
Images shows that you must have installed some type of activation/hactivation tool to activate window. But in real it just break you system. Run sfc /scannow & once completed, try again with SLMGR.
I thought he didn't knew the commands to change the old key..so anyway he might be infected by some Hackivator...so sfc /scannow would help.
clearly spp is not running as it should try admin command: net start sppsvc it this fails you really should run sfc
thanks guys for your replies, @ rrohela: I have not installed any crack or hacktivation, just activated it using a retail key via skype, and after that added my WMC key @ KNARZ : when I run it, it shows me : also Im using Agnitum Outpost Security Suit and I care about my security so I think Windows is not infected by a virus, all of these happened after a BSoD, and of course restoration of backed up activation fails.
Then check your services & set "Software Protection" to Auto. If its already at AUTO, Run SFC as stated earlier & still don't work. Go for Life saver options.
Yep, as stated here before, first run Code: sfc /scannow in elevated command prompt and see what it will find. If something found it will prompt you to reboot for repair. Then we can try next step. Regards Huih, post counter shows 9/11 (an omen .).
yes you're right rrohela, service is disabled and cannot be enabled and definitely something wrong as KNARZ stated. also SFC reported no problem , here the images are : Code: h**p://pictat.com/i/2012/11/8/36937untitled5.png h**p://pictat.com/i/2012/11/8/15951untitled10.png h**p://pictat.com/i/2012/11/8/10778untitled2.png I think I have to go for "refreshing PC " now.
Start Services.msc under administrator account & then try.. OR run command in elevated command prompt sc config sppsvc start= enabled
Sorry my mistake command is diffident but has some issues will find out later.. sc config sppsvc start=delayed-auto
well well well first thank you all Problem solved after went to "refresh your PC without affecting your files", though the reason of the problem is unknown yet, maybe weakness of Windows (kernel) ? and apps were not the reason of the problem (b'coz now I have all the apps that were installed before)
