I have a Compaq Mini 110 and on boot it says serial number not found in RED, I think it just needs to set up in the BIOS with a HP tool, like the DEll asset.com file Has anyone got the HP version of this so I can set the SN, The laptop crashed and I had to rebuild it, no parts have been changed. Many Thanks
I think the tool you need for the mini 110 is HPBI124.exe This post details how to enable windows 7 slic using that tool: w w w.myhpmini.com/forum/compaq-mini-110-dmi-tool-t4022.html#post29771 trying "HPBI124.exe /?" should show you all the other options
I have r tried hpbi124.exe and changed the serial no. but it came up all google garbarish and then saoid up supported platform
"but it came up all google garbarish and then saoid up supported platform" sorry, i don't understand.
sorry it came up all symbols and weird characters after entering in the Serial no this was from booting up on sub stick with dos on it and running hpbi124.exe from there., and when i run this from the dos command within Windows it says this platform is not supported!!
