hi guys I have a Compaq Presario CQ70 and the screen keeps flickering on and off when I move the top of the laptop backwards and forwards (see photo below) has anyone seen this before as its happened on my dads laptop as well (same laptop) so got 2 of them to try and fix lol must be a fault with this model I think. any help would be great thanks
Dear lowrider69, It could be the problem with cable that connects the laptop motherboard and the LCD/LED panel. It can also be that the cable is loose at the motherboard connecting end. Hope your hinges are intact, if not you are going to get the same problem again. Regards, Manu
cheers for that I think that's probably going to have to be the 1st thing to try it to make sure no wires/cables have come loose
