Hi, I am currently making a windows homeserver out of a compaq sr5219uk pc. it is all stock, so no custom hardware as yet. i just want to get it running. I can get it installed, there is just the little matter of activation. the bios will have compaq's dmi string i guess, so how can i use this and which oembios files are needed to make it activate?
whatever... I already told you which sets you could use...check their CRC values, how hard can it be?
Managed to sort it, couldn't figure out why the crc of the files didn't match, but i was looking @ the compressed file, not the file inside.. Ah well am happy i managed to sort it on my own..
That exactly was my point, just put a little effort in... it makes one feel better if they eventually manage on their own
