    Hello,
Right now I have Windows 7 x64 installed on my PC and now I would like to install Windows 8. Which release should I download and how do I keep all my files? Also, how do I activate Windows 8 and will I have any problems if I have UEFI? Thanks in advance.

Windows 8 (CORE) or Windows 8 PRO. Which ever you want will be fine.
As far as upgrading, I do not know how you will acomplish this.
You may need a key or you could just try entering a VL key and using MTK to activate.

I agree with slave77. Going from Windows 7 to Windows 8 is a good time to do a clean install. This will clear out all of the garbage that accumulates over time in any installation of Windows. Start fresh and Windows 8 will run fast.
