Computer would't start after flashing a bios mod

    Hi, I have a hp dv7-1020us and i wanted to try the bios mod. So I found one for my computer spec and i flashed it. It said it was successful, so i restart it and it turned on but the hp logo at start-up didn't show and computer have a black screen and it won't start. i google around and i found something about hp computers have the number and caps lock blinking lights. So i was woundering if anyone here could offer me a suggestion beside hp charging me 400bucks for the fix. Thanx in advance

    bios mods are COMPLETELY unnecessary

    I install windows 7 on my. I wanted to dual boot windows and mac but hp locked up the advance menu in the bios which would allow me to choose ICHI or ACHI option. so I came here and I found one bios modded for the exact same modle as my laptop but am guessing its my fault.
