    Hello people,

Somewhere on the forum i have read that the BIOS mod was a better solution then other solutions.

I can't see why... when you do the emulation (GRUB) youre windows or any other system will see Slic2.1 cause its emulated before any other bootmgrs working?.... With the right key and certificate it still should activate cause to the "seen" 2.1...

So if the keys get blacklisted you should find a working key to activate it again... Am i making the wrong thoughts?

I want to buy mine copy of win7 at the end of this year.. can i not activate because of Slic2.0? (Asus is a poor BIOS revision specialist ;) )

    am getting lost here....

Can somebody give some decent answers please?....

This is because i have the Asus VX2S (lamborghini) Laptop (slic2.0) and its
to important to me for playing with slics....
I have made a succesfull modded bios (at least no errors in app.) but i'm too affraid to test... :(

everybody has their own opinion on this. if you feel that your bios is too precious then go with a loader. The slickest way is always a bios that has slic2.1 either through an OEM bios upgrade or a mod. A loader is an OK solution if you cannot mod your bios or can't get a bios upgrade. E.g there are Dell users that cannot mod their bios with current tools.
