I have Win7 Ultimate installed but it is not activated. Am I going to need a loader?

I am pretty sure I understand that loaders differ from an act*vator which differs from a full release of a Win7 iso that is pre-activated. Right now loaders are the safest bet, correct?

Alright next, will it matter which BIOS version I choose in the loader, or which manufacturer? Is this loading process also called "rearming"?

Also, can someone explain what OEM SLP keys are for?

    Thank you, it did.

So the SLP keys are used for the rearming process? And loader=rearm? Thats the only 2 things I didn't find in that post.

Either you mod your bios or use a loader like Dazs'

Rearming is to do with extending the '30 day trial period'

SLP keys are part of the off-line SLP-OEM activation process.
    Read this about SLP-OEM activation - http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/5619

    SLP v2.0 = Vista
    SLP v2.1 = Vista & Win 7
