    Dear licensing experts.

I've already searched a lot, but could not find an answer to my question:

is it possible, to convert an already installed Windows 10 (Enterprise 2016 LTSC) from volume licensing to OEM/retail, without a full reinstall?
We have moved an computer to a different location, where there is no network connection to the KMS. Therefore we want to change licensing to OEM, since we have a legit key to activate this computer.

Unfortunately, just entering the OEM key does not work - Windows keeps trying to connect to the KMS server.

For reinstalling, we only have a wim file for a full restore to factory default. but then we'd loose all programs & data and have to completely reconfigure the machine.

    Thanks for your help.

    Addition:

with the restore image, showkey plus tells the license type is "Windows 10 Enterprise S Volume:GVLK".
on the running system, the license type is "Windows 10 Enterprise S OEM:NONSLP"

Therefore, now the question is: how to change licensing from "OEM:NONSLP" to "Volume:GVLK" ?

I think SLMGR /ipk newkey should be everything you need

    Yes, you are right.
Shame on me - picked the wrong key.
Using the right one and everything works!

    Thanks for your help.
