I have old ISO identical to the MSDN versions, but unfortunately those who created the file did it with UltraISO (or similar) without using the function to maintain the MSDN checksums My question is this: From the ISO it is possible to modify the checksums to make the ISO with MSDN SHA1 Thanks
What is the point of checksums that everyone can change at will? The checksums are not like underwear what can be changed if You want.
I know ... but since the copy is perfectly the same and the SHA1 is modified only for an ISO creation error ... I wanted to know if there was a method to remedy that error.
Ask @vanelle if the iso can be corrected. Or just post the original MSDN filename and we can see if we can provide the original ISO.
if you have a f**king hombrew iso you can try the brain Tool - throw it away - and begg / request for a valid MS iso post the expected msdn sha1 hash and a MSDN File name (or a file name wich discribe the iso)
