copy windows 7 dvd

    One of my friends has a windows 7 ultimate dvd which is genuine..can i copy that dvd for my personal use..if so how..?i heard that these discs are protected from copying..?

    try Alcohol 120, or imgburn

    alcohol 120 did not work..

    Never had a problem I tend to use Nero and then Disk copy Or try ashampoo
    or check out :
    CloneCD 5.3.1.4
    Other than that go to opa's thread and find the download

    Use poweriso to extract image to desktop then just burn a copy of image.

    I am still not sure the images of windows 7 are clean and unchanged..hence i prefer to copy dvd then download somewhere..

    Hash check them most of the downloads on here are clean..
