    Are you able to activate it with autokms or pico? Great job playing around with that. Does it make calls to MarkMonitor through IP?

    To have a country core edition of Windows 8, Not Windows 8 Pro and not just regular Windows 8 "Core" edition.

    @ambidav,

    how did you activate your country specific edition? do you have a laptop that comes with Windows 8 for China originally?

    HI, it seems to be activated with OEM DM keys, so possibly the key is from a laptop, but it is not required to be in china or have any relation to it for activating , it could be done from anywhere.

    I think the problem is caused by the MUI locked oem:Dm keys. May be China Edition oem:Dm keys can't (properly) activate CoreCountrySpecific if language is changed.
