Used the uninstall all Metro applications tricks to remove everything a few weeks ago. I wanted to add the store back temporarily but cannot figure out the DISM command to do so. I know it would be dism /online /add-package /packagepath: but then... I just can't figure out the correct path for `Microsoft-Windows-Store-Client-Package`. Anyone done this and readded any of the packages who can point the correct path out for me..?
Removed packages cannot be restored Reinstall whole system BTW, "packagepath" needs .cab file that contains the package, which does not exist for internal system packages
First of all how did you managed to remove store client?? if you are just referring to metro apps then you can go to windows store and search for the default apps the store will install the latest one
Renew windows might be an option. If that fails, you can try booting into windows setup disc (or usb) and doing a "Repair this computer" using the setup disc. Both versions would very likely fubar any installed program settings, so backup any important information.
Did you already try exporting the package from another machine using Bubbles Super Nasty method. (link in sig)
