I am having a problem with my hp envy 17t j-100. I guess the bios is corrupted. Once i power on the laptop the screen stays black but i can hear the fan and the power led stays on. Tried to update the bios by usb (downloaded sp from hp drivers of my laptop) and installed it on my fat32 4gb usb drive like this -hewlett-packard --BIOS ---Current Xxxx.bin Xxxx.s12 ---Next ---Previous --BIOSupdate Then tried to updat bios by holding win+B+power button but the usb led's start to flas for 5 seconds amd then stops, and the caps lock blinks 2 times , stop for 2 seconds and repeats the same (which means bios corrupted). Today i heard about pheonixtools and tried ro generate .bin and .sig from 01996.bin but the program just create some .bios files and not the .bin and .sig . please i need hepp to revive my $1000 laptop.
