I have an old motherboard, namely a Asus P5B-MX. On the Asus website I saw that the newest BIOS update from 2008 supports new CPU's. However what kind of CPU's is not listed on their website.

Is there a way that I can extract or view the CPU-codes and translate them to the proper CPU name?

I didn't miss that one. That list doesn't mention what "new" CPU's are supported by BIOS version 0704. Therefore I want to extract it from the BIOS itself.

Then you should have asked more clearly...sorry, but other than saying the 0704 BIOS apparently supports every CPU on the list there's no indication of which of those are newly supported...

That is why I want to extract it form the BIOS itself and translate it to the proper CPU name.
