Should work on other devices too (if done properly).

Nope. Activation key from MSDM table in BIOS/UEFI is gathered automatically during setup, no need for any files on the media itself.

I don't know what video you are talking about (it probably is made by someone who doesn't know about the capabilities of win 8.1/10 Multiple Editions (or MCT) OEMRET iso's).

First, for being able to repartition during windows setup you need to boot from the USB/DVD and install from there.

You can't select Pro because you probably have MSDM for Home in the bios, 8.1/10 Multiple Editions/MCT iso's check if there is a MSDM inside the bios, when it's for Home, setup autoselects Home and skips the sku selection.

For being able to install another sku from the iso on such OEM systems you need an ei.cfg which enables you to select the desired sku during install.
    Example working ei.cfg:
    Code:
    [Channel]
    _Default
    [VL]
    0
The ei.cfg has to be in the "sources" folder on the ISO/USB/DVD.

Thanks.. I didn't realise I forgot to include the link. I have included the link now.

I am booting off the USB.

I will have to look into this "MSDM for Home in the bios" thing.. I didn't see anything in the ACPI/BIOS about that..

My USB created from win10 media creation tool doesn't have \sources\ei.cfg

I don't know if I should add the file?
