I found many people in some videos (like this:youtube.com/watch?v=MtTbS2s-WOg) talking about Rufus as the simplest way to create a windows 10 bootable flash drive. But the problem is that the windows 10 file I downloaded has .img as extension, how can I convert it to .iso so I can use it in Rufus. Please help.
You should able convert with UltaISO 9 tools from .img to .iso format then after you convert it, then use Rufus tools. ATGPUD2003
Thanks but should I select "Image ISO" in the "Create a bootable disk using" option in the Rufus interface?
You do not need any strange aids or not any different or special knowledge. Just like the burning of a DVD, only you save these files now to USB. That is all knowledge what is needed. Only You must know, how to run from USB. Usually is needed to open BIOS start menu.
